It's been over a year since Frontier took over the customer base they acquired from Verizon. Where is the ability to watch my DVR & ALL subscribed channels from the mobile app that I had when I renewed my contract with Verizon before this abortion of a service provider took over? It was worth the money, but now I can't wait for my contract to expire.
App has been great until recently. Stops playing video shortly after opening and viewing video and says I'm "not connected to the network" yet I'm on a Wi-Fi network with no issues (including my home Frontier network). Please fix as the recent "Groundhog Day," constant rewind of live feed, has now been replaced by no video at all. Please perform better. My bill is too high to deal with this. I will change providers if the one carryover I enjoyed from Verizon is destroyed (watching channels via phone). FYI: the computer app to watch TV via the Frontier App/website still hasn't worked for me since the buy from Verizon. I don't want to move to Spectrum or AT&T... but I will. PLEASE FIX.
I had Comcast Xfinity TV before switching to Frontier. I could watch a multitude more of shows on demand and live tv than what is available now from Frontier. To watch some of my favorite shows now, I had to download apps from several networks. What a pain in the neck plus it hogs my device's memory.
Updated app on 3/13/17. Almost a year since signing up and Still No DVR Service. 2016 Worst App Winner! Defending Title in 2017. Useless update and I get updates from other apps nearly every few weeks to keep it bug free! Must be the lowest score in the store!
The app's ability to display my favorite channels and schedule DVR recordings have stopped. Repeated attempts to resolve the problem by rebooting the set top box per error message instructions have failed. Error DVR_3.
Unable to manage DVR. BROKEN. TV schedule and remote works. Sometimes am able to record a show using schedule but usually get an error. Very poor showing from Frontier considering how well this worked under Verizon.
