Received system update for phone recently and now it's a little better. Tried the DVR and finally after 11 months I recorded remotely. Still can't watch content on DVR I previously recorded. Lousy channel selection, touchy channel scroll and horrible, clueless customer service. Just did the update and was hoping to be able to watch the DVR remotely. NOT! Update : It won't open, just dancing dots! 4/21/17
This app has potential, but I blame Frontier as a whole for their lousy service and support. The persons I talk with are always polite and friendly, but they never seem to be able to finish helping me. Always get passed from our end agent to the next. I miss Verizon.
Update: Looks like they've been working on this. Increasing to 3 stars as connection issues seem to have been solved. If the fix holds, will consider another update If I could give less than 1 I would. Why have this app at all if it never connects to the DVR? Total POS. Verizon had issues but their app was always a valuable tool.
UPDATE...no more login issues... just hope they fix it to where we can watch dvr'd shows with the app.. hint hint😉 Constant error code when trying to Login, doesn't recognize my user name or password and always times out while waiting for Frontier to call with my access code 😡 and EVERY channel on the watch now feature says I'm not subscribed... Wtf!?!? UPDATE...would love it if we could watch dvr'd shows in the app
This app would be great if the app does not take away channels. There are always things I like to watch and are missing in the now playing stuff. Also, the channels are not all accurate. It could say one thing and it is showing another item instead. Wrong movies ect... But, all in all it is ok for the most part.
Terrible customer support is what you get from Frontier. Very good Internet but crappie TV and support is just unmentionable. They encourage leaving to a new provider such as Comcast and then returning as new customers in months to come for new customer promos. What a bunch of dodos. Not good business practices at all.
