Awesome user interface, but the synchronization is way slow.
Great app, love sync, UI work still needed for better security I love this app. Have premium, use sync. Now auto locks! But, still can't go five stars... The auto lock still gives a glimpse of the password entry you left open, when the screen is woke up after it screen blanks. It *does* auto lock a second later. But five stars is for perfect apps, and this is not yet perfect in the UI. Else, it is great!
Can't synch. Wasted my time. Paid for Android premium upgrade in-app. Attempted to connect another device but Android app just spins with "retrofit.RetroFit" error. Useless, deleted app and canceled.
It's great The problems are fixed. Now it's simply great, just as one would expect from f-secure. Further suggestions for improvement: two step verification option
June 24 2015 F-secure key is a great program. I use it across 3 platforms; android, apple I pad and windows. About the only negative I have is the effort it took to get my issue resolved. F - secure support process is not very good and difficult to use at the entry level and it seems to take a very long and frustrating time to advance to the people that can help you. When I finally reached the development team. I found them to be knowledgeable professional patient and genuinely interested in solving your issue. Kudos bob
Great way of storing passwords. However there is big security issue with the mobile app in my opinion. Mobile app saves the master password and with this F-secure relies only the screen lock of the mobile device. However screen lock is not really secure method since it can be guessed just by glancing the trails fingers leave on the devices display. Also I consider the screen lock just a way to deny the usage of mobile device by total strangers, most of your close friends can see you tap in your screen lock key anyway. Also just typing the master password with mobile device is pain in the a** since it's so long. I'd suggest F-secure to add in option for PIN-code to open the keys. So that the app would remember the master password but to actually access the passwords with mobile app you should enter some PIN-code consisting only of numbers. This adds more security to the app and still keeps it usable for the user without hassling him/her typing master password which can be really pain in the a** with mobile devices. Most bank related apps include authentication similar to this, you can check Pivo or MobilePay for example. If this feature is added I'll rate it 5 stars.
Thank you for all the feedback! We are making this product better every day thanks to you.
