SLOW Great content. if it was for the content alone it would be 5 stars. But the app is a little slow. OK on the phone I would prefer a menu for the different sections. On the tablet it's nice to swipe across like a newspaper but it's slow. Maybe try to gear the app towards tabs and phones rather than all in one. Thanks
Pas mal Much better on Galaxy S4. A shame comments can't be read or interacted with on the app. Could be faster and could have more videos and content. The ultimate luxury would be audio clips of each article a-la The Economist app. Would be 5 stars with these changes.
Not a great app in comparison to the NYT, WSJ, and Guardian. Updates by prompting you for a new download. The download also takes more time than other newspaper apps and puts your device out of commission while processing. Much worse as a mobile app and site than NYT, WSJ, and Guardian. Subscriptions are also expensive. This may reflect that their core audience are Wall Street types reading monitors on trading desks. (Their news coverage is also less good and more reflective of bias than the other newspaper sites, but that's another issue).
Good app in general Well laid out, easy to use for the most part. Seems more aimed at the tablet audience and you can't zoom text last I tried, but a good standby for the paper in a push. Useful if you're overseas and you don't get the magazine too. You can get a better layout by enabling your subscription through Google play newsstand.
News feed doesn't update automatically News feed doesn't update automatically. Otherwise it'd be a 5 star.
Great app. Downloads stories when phone is locked Great app for news. Downloads when phone is locked so even if you at on the underground with no signal, you can get the latest stories (at least two layers down). Related articles not in main news will need a signal. Would be great to get market prices, too, then would rate 5 stars.
