HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you cross paths with another happn user, their profile appears on your app. Did someone catch your eye? Like them secretly. We promise, the person will never know, unless they Like you back. Do you want to stand out? Send them a SuperCrush. Now you can send a message before you even get a Crush. And if the Like is mutual, then the Crush is yours! Now you can chat, and we’re counting on you to make that first message memorable. Show off your writing skills!

The happn app is free to download and to use. If you would like access to more features, you can switch to Premium by purchasing a subscription. With Premium, you get access to the list of people who have Liked your profile and you can send SuperCrushes to your favorite profiles so you’re sure to stand out.

Ratings and reviews

Back when it used to work. It was interesting using this app, crossing paths, trying to match with people relatively close. This latest time downloading the app, it's riddled with "error" 's (as indicated by the app) and No crossings are detected (I live in one of the busiest restaurant areas In town) even though my match parameters are wide open. I've reinstalled multiple times and opened up all permissions with no luck . Hopefully it's working for others.

Cool concept but the app is incredibly slow. I've tried it on two different smartphones. Browsing profiles to swipe, checking messages, checking anything... The app loads and loads. Then they gave the GUI, colors, and logo a complete overhaul and it's even slower! Also, it gives a lot of fake messages and notifications that are just the app telling you to upgrade. The company seems bent on aesthetics and pressuring users to upgrade rather than providing a good experience.

Basically no one in my area using the app. You can't look for someone a certain amount of miles away or set a distance. You'd have to drive around your limit destination to scope out the area for pings. You can't take a personality quiz to help out with matching pr anything. It's basically useless unless you go for long drives. I do appreciate you being able to set a few of your favorite songs on your profile though.
