Using this app for simple remote control is frustrating. It can connect to the camera fine and take a picture, but then when I click on the thumbnail of the picture I just took, it takes me to a list of every picture I have ever taken and scrolls to the very oldest one (not the thumbnail I clicked). Then I have to scroll past thousands of photos to the very top of the list to see the picture I just took. This seems like the most common task I would want to do in this app, and it's very clunky.

Since the newest firmware update, this app won't connect to my camera at all. I've reinstalled the app twice; no difference. Previous versions were buggy, but now it's completely useless. I've invested many thousands in Fujifilm equipment over the years and am in disbelief as to how shoddy the software rollout has been. No longer recommending this system to follow photographers.

The Fujifilm X App is really not very good. I need to re-pair my camera on Bluetooth every time I use it, it doesn't handle large cards with lots of photos well at all, and consistently crashes when I apply filters to try to grab only certain photos from the camera wirelessly. Pretty disappointing for 2026.
