Fantastic Bought the Fuji XP90 before a 6 day white water trip in the Grand Canyon. I Downloaded this app and on the first try it connected and downloaded my pictures. I'm sure there is a way to download all photos at once but I couldn't figure that out so had to do one at a time. No big deal...I got to be in awe again at what I just experienced. Thanks for the great app Fuji ......I'm a user not a techie and I did it!!!
Works great on fujifilm s9900w and opo phone The app works flawlessly and has not once dropped signal or been unable to connect. Only thing I wish was a little faster is how long it actually takes to connect which is not an actual problem it's just me being picky lol overall great app. A suggestion is if that if possible add a feature to be able to focus the camera remotely aside from just being able to zoom and take the picture.
Pathetic and angering After so many complaints about the application not working why isn't there a fix yet or any communication from FujiFilm? I am using Samsung Galaxy note 5. The camera and phone find each other on WiFi but the application gives error message that the application "isn't compatible." The application then shuts down and I am left unable to do anything. Having the ability to use this application was a selling point for the camera, which is worse off spec wise than my phone, it is now a returning point
Make it really Marshmallow compatible I was on Nexus 5 with android 6 and impossible to downgrade. Bought Sony Z3+ to be back on Android 5. Now my phone is harassing me to upgrade to 6 but feedback from other Sony users confirm this is still an epic fail. Please fix!!!
Too unreliable Love my Fuji cameras but describing them as wifi enabled is pushing the trade description act. With two different cameras over 6 months I've only been able to transfer photos to my phone twice. Not worth the stress of tring to get a connection. :( to be fair, wifi cards aren't much better.
Could be better/could be much worse Have had this camera and app for about five minutes now. Noticed off the bat that anytime you try to switch between tasks within the app, it disconnects the connection and have to reconnect (going from live view to wireless transfer etc.) Really cool to control the camera from the phone and then having wireless transmitter to upload to my phone to upload onto social media much faster! Have Droid Turbo and XP80.
Some bug fixes.
The FUJIFILM Camera Remote now can be used to all the wireless-equipped Fujifilm digital cameras*.
