This used to be the perfect app for monitoring the CTA, both buses and trains. Since a recent update to the UI, it is more difficult to read your stations/stops saved to your favorites list. By FAR the most frustrating part of this update is that you must now select stations based on a particular direction of travel. For example, it used to have all directions for every station, particularly the trains. Now, if you go different directions at a particular stop (south for work, but north for friends) then you have to add the stop TWICE, but the UI doesn't indicate which direction from that stop you've saved. This app needs a small overhaul that will completely streamline functionality back to a 5-star level like it has been for almost the 2 years I've relied on it.
Why does cta official website and this app shoe bus stops for bus routes in alphabetical order? Does it even make sense?! No one would just want a bunch of stops listed in alphabetical order if they want to know which route the bus takes. I wish this app or cta could draw out routes on an actual map!
When you use the Bus Stop search, it only shows westbound, you have to scroll through the list to select option
The app only shows train estimates going south.
Started showing trains only going south. Uninstalled.
It's helpful but the bus arrival times are almost never accurate. Usually off by several minutes.
+ Restored the L lines and stations, and enhanced new view of the stations on each line and where they intersect other lines.
+ Minor performance tweaks and bug fixes.
