Ratings and reviews

Railroads a bit at the start, but otherwise breaks the mould in standard puzzle RPGs. Lots of gameplay, few time limitations, and cool character ability combos. Kinda reminds me of Chrono Trigger in regard to combination attacks. Of course, Chrono Trigger is one of the best games ever made, so the comparison of combinations goes no further. If someone creates another gem like CT, I will be obligated by the gamer's code to go down on them for the principle of the thing. so, it's a high bar here.

This game is really fun, candy crush with heroes. But it's just so impossible to compete with other players for free because getting things like the best heroes or weapons or upgrade materials etc. all require a lot of money... Every once and a while you luck out and get good heroes... But players with a disposable income will crush you no matter what. If you don't mind and still want to play for free, there's plenty to play all day even when you're out of energy.

Love the animation in the game. The board interactions and the special skill animations are amazing. Having weapons, runes, and artifacts adds something different to this 3 match game. If you're a F2P player, you really won't have to spend money in the game. My 2 issues with this game are as follows. 1. The drop rate for 5* heroes are way too low (been playing for a month and only have 1 5* hero so far). 2. There are WAY TOO MANY microtransactions in this game. It takes away from the game.
