Great when it worked! Great app, until it stopped working. I am using Lollipop on a LG G3, and in the past I simply added the Giganticon widget, and was presented with a menu for choosing an APP. Now, the widget simply appears on the home screen. I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, etc. Any help would be appreciated!
Android remote control? Yeah, I went there. Used various older Nexus devices with this app/widget to make huge icons and I've got a great customizable "remote control" for casting stuff to the big screen via Chromecast. Totally worth the $1 to plaster giant icons all over this thing, thanks! My one complaint with it is I can't seem to get the app to recognize icon updates and they don't use the newer versions when applicable.
Install instructions are wrong. When I got it working it started what looked like looping - couldn't shut it off even by restarting the phone. Either it's really poorly written code, or it might be malware.
Google Now Any reason this won't show up in the Google Now launcher? EDIT: It seems to be a conflict with Folder Organizer. There's an option in FO that let's you enable/disable widgets and shortcuts. I usually keep all their widgets turned off. When I turned them back on, Giganticon was suddenly visible. But FO was not.
Neat App Love the look but can't figure why it drains my power so bad. Message icon does not work correctly.
Nice app, but need a way to change the icon whenever we want. Not only if HD is not available. Is that possible ? 5 stars for that for sure
- You can now assign any image on your device to be the image for an icon. In previous versions you could only do this if no high resolution icon was available.
