Shootero is an arcade shooting game like galaga shooter with stylized gameplay. It is not a mundane alien shooter game, but highlighted with a combination of classic galaxy attack gameplay and rogue-lite features. Shootero definitely puts you on fire every time you play.

Ratings and reviews

Okay, yeah after reading the last few bad reviews and trying the game again I can proudly say that they ruined their own masterpiece, it WAS that easy of: adding levels, more upgrades for variety, and making more ships. But NO they added forced ads when you get upgrades and added an ad banner at the bottom, genuinely making the game no longer any fun to play. I'm sorry, you did this to yourself...

You ruined it... In 2 years you ruined something special, all you had to do was add more levels, and ships. I remember that by the END of a mission your ship level would be around 25-29 and now each time you level up during a mission you are forced to watch an ad. For anyone reading this you can put two and two together. Remove the forced ads. And that ad bar at the bottom of the screen.

I used to love the game but now it is unplayable. 10 second ads every time you level up in a mission, and that's on top of the constant banner ad at the bottom which happens to cover important buttons on the screen. I cannot exit the upgrade wheel because of this, meaning the game is GENUINELY unplayable. I did not exaggerate at the beginning of this review: what was once a fun chill game with cool ships and upgrades is now blocked behind a wall of ads that prevent any enjoyment.
