About this app

Causer is for volunteers to handle their volunteer schedules while engaging with the causes and organizations they care about!

Your volunteer program is using Get Connected volunteer software, giving you access to your volunteer profile right here from the Causer app.

Log in or create your account to connect with your volunteer organization.

From your volunteer dashboard, you'll be able to view all of your past and upcoming volunteer shifts, or select new volunteer shifts!

Receive push notifications when your volunteer shift is approaching and when you arrive on-site ready to check-in.

You can check in directly from the app when you begin volunteering to ensure your program is able to collect your volunteer hours - data that helps make a bigger difference!

The app will also remind you when it is time to check out and stop your volunteer clock.

From your volunteer profile you can:

~ Select new volunteer shifts
~ Manage your volunteer schedule in calendar view
~ Check-in/check-out of volunteer shifts
~ And, see the impact you're making!

Ratings and reviews

ok when it works, which is not consistently. Can't figure out a way to see volunteer hours by year & month like the previous platform did. Difficult to find a volunteer shift, then have to scroll through long list to find a specific date rather than being able to click on a calendar date. Pretty much impossible to find group volunteer shifts without a customized link.

One of the most frustrating apps I've ever used. Incredibly non-intuitive. For example: when attempting to add hours with the add hours function, there's a drop down arrow that you would think accesses the other numbers in the list, but rather than pressing on the drop-down arrow you need to press on the number to change the numerical value. On Android this app is so buggy that it's practically useless. Adjusting my hours is virtually impossible. #1 rule of app development: don't make me think.

This app worked fine for me until the latest update. It won't allow you to sign in with a password and wants you to enter a code that they send via email, but the app closes as soon as you switch windows to check you email, and it will not accept the code when you open up the app to login again. I really wish they hadn't changed it, because now it's impossible to login.
