aRi[t]mar Galiza e Portugal é un proxecto didáctico-cultural, desenvolvido pola Escola Oficial de Idiomas de Santiago de Compostela, pertencente á Consellería de Educación, Universidade e FP da Xunta de Galicia, que ten por obxectivo divulgarmos a música e a poesía galego-portuguesas actuais, e achegarmos a cultura e a lingua dos dous países, no marco do desenvolvemento da Lei Valentín Paz-Andrade para o aproveitamento do ensino do portugués e vínculos coa lusofonía.

Coa organización do Equipo de Dinamización da Lingua Galega e os departamentos de galego e de portugués do centro, ao longo do ano lectivo traballamos de forma didáctica os textos e as músicas co noso alumnado e, posteriormente, escóllense mediante votación online as mellores cancións e poesías editadas en Galiza e en Portugal no ano anterior.

O certame consta de catro categorías: mellor tema musical galego, mellor tema musical portugués, Mellor poema galego, mellor poema portugués

Como colofón, en outubro celébrase unha Gala de premios con actuacións e intervencións das e dos galardoados, en Santiago de Compostela, que conta co patrocinio das secretarias xerais de Cultura e de Política Lingüística da Xunta de Galicia, da Deputación Provincial da Coruña, do Concello de Santiago, do Instituto Camões e do Agrupamento Europeo de Cooperación Territorial Galicia-Norte de Portugal.

Ao constatarmos que esta iniciativa está a ter moi boa acollida entre o noso alumnado e profesorado, mais tamén entre o público en xeral, quer de Portugal quer da Galiza, e está a contribuír para os nosos estudantes aprenderen galego e portugués coa motivación engadida de traballaren tamén coa música e a poesía e a rima e o ritmo, decidimos partillármolo e dirixírmonos a outros centros de ensino, en que, ademais de galego, se ensinar (en) portugués, ou onde a música e/ou literatura sexan un elemento central da oferta académica.

Así pois, alén das comunidades educativas e sociais da Escola Oficial de Idiomas de Santiago de Compostela, ​tamén ​participan e colaboran neste proxecto as da Facultade de Filolo​xi​a da Universidade de Santiago de Compostela,​ Conservat​o​rio Profe​sional de Música de Santiago de Compostela, Escola Oficial de Idiomas de Lugo, Escola Oficial de Idiomas de Pontevedra, Centro Cultural Portugu​ê​s de Vigo-Instituto Camões, e os centros do Ensino Português pelo Camões na Galiza: IES Arcebispo Xelmirez I (Santiago de Compostela), IES Félix Muriel (Rianxo), IES de Valga, IES Valadares (Vigo), IES Politécnico (Vigo), IES A Sangriña (A Guarda), CEIP Mariñamansa (Ourense), CEIP Manuel Luís Acuña (Ourense), CEIP Oimbra e CEIP Princesa de España (Verín), e o Instituto de Ensino Secundario de Cacheiras (Teo). Para alén, logo de asinaren un protocolo de colaboración a Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria e mais a Compañía da Radio e a Televisión de Galicia (CRTVG), esta última difunde a través dos seus medios os contidos audiovisuais do certame, con especial destaque para os temas musicais finalistas e gañadores correspondentes a Galiza e a Portugal.
