The first few times I opened the app, I couldn't access the menu; I only caught a brief glimpse of it before the actual content displayed. What I did read was awesome. Now the app opens to a menu that can't be scrolled through and is unresponsive to my taps. There's a panel with a play button at top of the menu, which, after I tap it, changes to a pause button after a brief delay. Aside from an unmoving fraction of an orange loading bar that appears below the panel, nothing happens. I really want this to work because the youth group I work with is going through John and I wanted to preview it before telling them about it.
It presents the story of Jesus in an easy to digest and relate to way. In a fun, gamer culture type of way. You can listen to it in the background while you do other things on your phone & see for yourself. It's what I did.
Super Legit This is really cool. This app breaks down this whole Jesus thing into a really interesting package. You can tell it's really by gamers, for gamers too. The best way to describe it: legit.
The Story of Jesus, Plain and Simple. This app mashes together the Gospel of John and gaming culture to provide an amazing retelling of the story of Jesus.
