Downloads the magazine now but just stopped moving after turning to a certain page. Geez still found a way to make this app unusable.
I couldn't even get an issue to download on my note 8... disappointed!
The app seems to work, but for an app related to gameinformer that has a catalog of 25 years worth of magazines, there is only a catalog of magazines that ends at November in 2016! If there's a way to get the older issues like the 2000's, I'd like to know, but for right now, it is just so little to come back to.
It's clunky, unintuitive, and barely works. I managed to read an issue after a lot of struggling to get pages to turn, and now the app is stuck on that issue because the app opens to it after closed, the back button just closes the app entirely, and the menu only gives basic navigation of the issue you are in. Was this app made when smartphones were just becoming viable? The design is horrendous, the functionality is almost non-existent, and the worst part is it seems to be more or less working as intended.
I have been subscribed to Gameinformer for several years, but recently switched to digital due to an overwhelming amount of magazines taking up space. This app is incredibly useful and love how it lets you download for offline viewing. Deserves the highest marks!
Was able to login and start downloading my issues fairly easy. My biggest problem with the app is that when I leave the app and try to come back, I get an error message saying that there was a problem with the app. After I hit ok I'm able to get into the app but it happens all the time when trying to go in on the 1st try to open.
Added partial support for offline reading, contents that require online access won't be available while offline.
