About this game

Where Shadows Slumber is a mobile adventure puzzle game that takes place in a world that has been plunged into darkness. You will guide Obe, an old man who discovers a mysterious lantern in the forest, on one last journey.

The only tools at your disposal are your wits and the chaotic nature of the universe. Anything that is not touched by light has the freedom to change. This governing principle will be your guide in the darkness, but also your undoing. After all, if you are not touched by the light, you have the freedom to change as well.

What will you become?

The game is really great overall and the puzzles are well done. Sometimes a level would lock up while loading or a cut scene would lock up while playing, but closing/reopening would fix it. The review request is too persistent. I chose the "not now" like option when it first came up and got the review request again on the next screen change within seconds of dismissing it. The game is too short for the price though and that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Hey Tim, Thanks for the review! We're surprised to hear about the review request, it's not supposed to do that. Do you remember what Level that was? Email me at contact@gamerevenant.com with the details! -Frank Artist, Where Shadows Slumber

This game is amazing. It's a dark story, as thought provoking as the ingenious puzzles. Monument Valley has much to learn from this game as I find it better in some key ways. I care much more about learning more of the story and wanted to finish levels more and more to see what happens, like Another World (Out of This World) does. Play with sound turned all the way up or with headphones! There is loud noice at the beginning but the soundtrack and atmospherics are incredible!

I had the same experience as the other user where the review request came up one level after saying "not now". It was chapter 3 after level 1, then came up again after level 2. It is a minor bug IMO. I played the beta quite some time ago, enjoyed it but lost track of it until I saw it on sale recently. The game is quite fun and I really enjoyed the idea of reality toggling on light changes. The story drama was a bit mystifying at times but also fun.
