Too many ads. In the middle of writing a text message I'll be cut off by an ad. There's a widget that always stays on my screen, in front of whatever I'm doing. I checked settings I can only move it to the right or left corner, either up or down, and can make it transparent or visible. Constantly clicking on it while browsing online and it's extremely annoying. The only I reason I keep Go launcher and Go SMS is because I like the 10 second delay for text messages. When another messaging system has it I'll drop this. Ridiculously frustrating that they want people to buy "Ad Free" so badly that they would bombard them with ads every 10 minutes of being online. I timed it.

Used to use this all the time. Today I could not get to my home screen without being forced to choose a subscription plan. Really sad, too, because I downloaded this years ago and had really enjoyed it. Hopefully I can re-install someday. Edit: there is a little white x up in the left corner that lets you click out of this ad, and then in the go settings you can turn off notifications from the app.

I've been using Go Launcher for a number of years and find it both useful and enjoyable. So why the 2-start review? It's because with every new release, new annoyances are added (like unwanted pulldown-type notifications which block the screen and are nearly impossible to get rid of). Ads even occasionally pop up on the lock screen after an upgrade, even though I've got the paid version. The latest??? A new "app" (almost certainly a Go Launcher shortcut) called "Physical World" which temporarily causes all your icons to pile up in a heap at the bottom of the screen. What on earth????
