I installed and connected the Brillion app with our wi-fi, saw the limitations and uninstalled. Then our oven had a constant blinking indication light while the appliance is still seeking the wi-fi router. I tried to reinstall the app and nothing would connect nor link and then mysteriously one night the app did make its own connection. I don't need to know when someone at the house has pre-heated the oven. I have tried to turn off the notification feature and that seems to be not an option. I never know far enough in time to set the oven for remote enable, furthermore someone can kick that remote access setting off by opening the oven door or by touching any button on the oven''s front panel. So, I would be happy if the remote enable light on the oven did not flash when I delete Brillion app on my cell phone or if the installed app would let me turn off the notification messaging about pre-heat.
Works Great Download was easy. Needed to update the software. Took a bit longer then I expected but once it did, everything worked as described. Have a Samsung 6 Edge. I must say I had a bit of frustration, as others said, regarding the update. I walked away from my phone a couple of times but left it on hoping the update would appear. I honestly thought it wasn't going to happen......but it finally did. The problem I have with the whole setup is that the remote mode must be turned on in order to have it function.
Same problem as other users Software update that doesn't. After connecting, says oven needs an update. It never gets past this
Doesn't work 90% of the time! Just got a cafe oven and the oven constantly shows as offline in the app even when the connection is solid and remote enabled. While great in theory, horrible in practice. Maybe ill run through the android debugger and see if I find an errors being thrown but that shouldn't be my job!
Bluetooth It works all fine and good but what do I do if it connect with Bluetooth it won't let e continue unless it's will WiFi but our wall oven(microwave) is blue tooth and I'm really confused what to do
Update The update never updates after leaving it for over an hour. Not good. No update and can't move on from there. Of course I guess that's GE typical. It took them almost a month to send a tech out to fix my ovens.
