About this app

This is a beta release of the meshtastic.org project. We'd love you to try it and tell us what you think. You'll need to buy an inexpensive ($30ish) radio from a variety of vendors to use this application, see our website for details. We don't make these devices.

***Please*** if you have questions: post on our forum and we'll work together to fix them (we are volunteer hobbyists).

This post is a good place to get started.

We would really appreciate good Google reviews if you think this is a good project.

Good app but hard to configure. There should be something that says that a chat is encrypted to anyone out there and something that tells your chat is encrypted to only with the ones you shared the key. Also for easier way to setup/understand why it works while connected to internet and actual antennae connections, also separate them with highlighted emblem or something.

The Meshtastic app has improved dramatically. You now have much more granular control over aspects that were previously secluded behind command line interface. The devices themselves are also improving. A common use case is people try to use the devices with TAK, which requires more data than the devices are really meant to send... So adding some more situational awareness type features to the map function would be a cool compliment to the app which would make using TAK no longer needed for some
