Poor customer service and bizarre protocols. Locked out of account after mis-typing password and was told to email customer service, no response for several days, then told that I'd have to wait 7 business days for them to unlock it. Later I tried updating my credit card exp date and my account was flagged because the name on my credit card (nickname) didn't match the name on my Maven account. What does my account name matter so long as all of the credit card information is valid and accurate?
Useless & unreliable. I want to love this service. I've just never been able to reserve a car. I've attempted 4x within 6 months. Always denied re: unable to secure funds yet same CC works for ZipCar and EnterpriseCarShare. Leaves me scrambling to find a car every time, I won't try again. Yes, I called Customer Service. Yes, I was told to call my CC. No, I'm not trouble shooting something that's not happening on my end.
HiMaven: you can lock my account like you did the car 500 miles from home with absolutely no explanation, but, you can't keep me out of The Google Play Store!!! DO NOT USE THIS APP OR MAVEN. I didn't read any reviews first but site wish I had. If this is what we taxpayers got for bailing out General Motors, we got robbed.
Really wanted to like this. The service has a lengthy and in-depth background check that takes at least 15-20 mins. Only after you've been approved can you login. I did all that only to find that their car availability is *extremely* scarce. I'm in LA and the closest vehicle is 10 miles away.
Locked my account and never opened it back up its been a month and i emailed custumer service havent heard back. Took my mobey and ran is what i say horrible app im going to report this to get it taken off the app store or google play store. If this is how they treat pepole why be a company. Im going to try again and id thier is no prevail ill make evreyone wishes come true.
DO NOT USE!! Worst car rental program ever! They cancelled my reservation less than 24 hours before my trip without just cause. The app crashed multiple times. I called customer service and was transferred around. No one could offer a solution to the problem except to send an email to customer service. It made no sense. 24 hrs later and still no resolution. Terrible customer service representatives. Could not get on the phone with a supervisor. Ended up using another car rental service which was less expensive! Maven is the worst!! Do not use this company.
