This app patches several vulnerability issues found on Android collectively known as 'Master Key' exploits:
- bug 8219321
- bug 9695860
- bug 9950697
In general terms, these allow exploiting signed APKs by replacing the code they contain while maintaining the existing signature valid (hence the term 'Master Key'), leading you to think the original author is someone you trust.
The original Android sources have been corrected to fix these problems, but it might take a while
till stock ROMs include the fixes, if ever.
To check if you're vulnerable, you can use other apps available on the store such as SRT AppScanner (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.backessrt.appintegrity) or Bluebox Security Scanner (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bluebox.labs.onerootscanner).
Note: If using Bluebox Security Scanner, make sure to force a refresh on the app once the fix is applied, otherwise you might get a cached and incorrect result.

PDroid Manager allows you to manage the privacy settings offered by OpenPDroid. It is the preferred management app for OpenPDroid. It is the result of a lot of work by a lot of people, check the credits in the app.
This app allows fine-grained control of which user/system apps have access to your personal data. If you think apps are asking for an unreasonable number of permissions, this is one solution. By installing the OpenPdroid core, this app can leverage a custom API and give the power to the user.
You must have a custom framework installed on your Android device in order to use this app! I cannot stress this enough. You can either compile your own rom, or you can add the OpenPDroid framework to any open-source rom by using the Auto-patcher.
The Auto-Patcher thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1719408. The autopatcher allows you to use this app on CyanogenMod, ParanoidAndroid, PAC-man, SlimRom, and any other rom with published source code.

Again...PDroid Manager requires a modified ROM which includes OpenPDroid or PDroid 2.0 in order to function. If you have not specifically chosen a ROM for your device with the intention of using OpenPDroid your ROM will almost certainly NOT support this application
Note: This application cannot function when installed at the same time as CollegeDev's PDroid 2.0. Uninstalling CollegeDev's app will not cause your PDroid settings to be lost.

This application does NOT work on Android 4.3+. Android 4.3 compatible solution is called "Jelly Bean 4.x Airplane Mode Helper", it requires Xposed framework, it is available on developer's website and XDA Developers forum.
This application allows other applications to control airplane mode on Jelly Bean 4.2 (Android 4.2) devices/ROMs exactly the way it was possible before Android 4.2.
This is generic helper - most applications capable of toggling airplane mode on pre-4.2 versions of Android are supported.
The only unsupported applications are those that explicitly detect Android 4.2 and disable/hide settings that control airplane mode (and usually show some kind of notice about Android 4.2) in GUI. If you encounter such applications, please notify their developers about this workaround (ask them to bring airplane mode options back and display a warning on Android 4.2+).
