G Cloud backs up all of your phone data. Photos Call Logs Texts Contacts and Videos You can also backup your settings music and app data if you have a rooted phone. Only works with your phone. You can still use the website on your PC onlly drawback. with a phone or tablet, even an Android box. You don't have to worry about backing up your phone manually. You can set G Cloud to backup automatically in the settings at a certain time or when your device is plugged in.

I just love how easy this is to use and how it keeps all my important files right where I can easily access them at any given time and it's so easy to navigate through. No guess work to it. I love how all my files are backed up into one place making it so much easier to find what I'm looking for instead of having to shuffle through several different storage apps.

It does what it says it does, and seems to work as designed. But it does not make restoration easy if you have a good number of backed up datasets. Data from a single backup is not easily available since each category is stored separately. Does not synchronize phone data to phone; only a SIMPLE BACKUP. If you backup several times, then when you restore, you could get all the files and data you deleted on your phone restored back to your phone unless you clean up the data in the cloud before restoring all. Probably not a good solution to restore the entire phone to a new phone or after a factory reset unless you want to spend a lot of time in the cloud searching through all the backed up data, category by category, to decide what to keep and what to toss BEFORE YOU RESTORE. Application Data from the Android>Data folder is NOT backed up, so you could lose a lot of data history from apps that store their data in the Android folders.
