About this app

HomeLink Connect is the companion app to your in-vehicle HomeLink buttons. It helps guide you through programming your mirror-integrated HomeLink buttons to control your garage door and gates and, for Bluetooth-enabled HomeLink mirrors, it also allows you to control your smart home devices such as lighting, thermostats, smart outlets, and other compatible home automation devices.

HomeLink® is the most widely used and trusted car-to-home automation system, with over 100 million HomeLink equipped vehicles on the road today. HomeLink consists of vehicle-integrated buttons that use radio frequency (RF) and/or cloud-based wireless control to operate compatible home automation devices. After pairing their phone to the HomeLink buttons, drivers of HomeLink Connect compatible vehicles will be able to configure the app to control a myriad of home automation devices at the touch of a button or set up entire home automation “scenes.”

By offering a combination of RF and cloud-based wireless control, HomeLink remains the industry standard for comprehensive, reliable, vehicle-to-home automation.

Ratings and reviews

Doesn't work with Google Home or Google Assistant. The app works fine on Android, and may directly communicate with devices throughout your house, but if those same devices are also integrated with Google Home I have not found a way to interact with them using Google Assistant. Hopefully this type of feature will be added in the near future.

No instructions work for my 2023 vehicle using the learn button. No Google integration. Support line is just a recording of the same instructions that do not work.

Thought this would be great to notify me if my garage door is open, but your instructions are not clear and your next step/continue buttons actually COVER some instructions!!
