About this app

Geopapa Kids is a children's GPS tracker and parental control app that works in tandem with the Geopapa app for parents. It's a secure family locator: parents can see their child's location on a map, restrict apps on their device, receive notifications about visiting important places, and stay in touch with their family.

HOW TO GET STARTED
1. Install the Geopapa app on the parent's phone and register.
2. Install Geopapa Kids on the child's device.
3. Enter the linking code – the devices will connect, and all features will become available.

WHAT IS IT FOR?
The GPS tracker helps parents feel more at ease and know their child's whereabouts throughout the day. Geofencing automatically notifies them of visits to important locations. App blocking helps parents limit their child's access to selected apps and maintain a healthy digital balance. If the phone is in a backpack or on silent mode, the parent sends a loud alarm to quickly attract the child's attention. Battery monitoring helps maintain connection: a notification is sent when the battery is low.

USING ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES (AccessibilityService API)
Geopapa Kids uses the AccessibilityService API exclusively for parental control—blocking and restricting apps on a child's device. This feature allows a parent or legal guardian to restrict the launch of selected apps on the child's device through the linked Geopapa app.

Geopapa Kids uses the Android accessibility service only for one parental control feature—to allow parents to restrict and block selected apps on the child's device. This access has no other purpose: the app does not record audio, read messages, bypass Android security settings, or change phone settings without the parent's consent.

Accessibility is enabled manually and only after consent on a separate screen in the app. It can be disabled at any time in the device settings.

OTHER PERMISSIONS
All data is transferred only to the linked Geopapa parent app over a secure connection:
-- Location (precise, including background) - to display the child's location on the map, movement history, and geofencing.
- Microphone - to record voice messages in the family chat.
- Notifications - geofencing events, low battery, messages, and SOS.
- Battery status access - to monitor the device's battery level.

Geopapa Kids is designed exclusively for use with the Geopapa parent app.
