About this app

The application presents in the form of a virtual tour for the four (4) volcanoes of the Aegean Sea (Santorini, Milos, Nisyros, Methana), including historical, geological and geomorphological information. For each volcano, the surrounding area, the hiking routes and the most important points of interest are presented in detail with rich photographic material that was digitized in the framework of the project "Creation of an Open Geoscientific Data Portal (GEOPORTAL)" with code OPS 5150761, of the OP "Digital Transformation 2021-2027", Information Society S.A. with the final beneficiary being the Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration (H.S.G.M.E.).
