About this app

We have created a more interesting way to perform contact search to make phone call. It is less eye intensive, it requires no eye - hand coordination to type with phone soft keyboard, and it is more enjoyable.

It's hard sometimes to search for contact to make phone call with the following steps:
+ open contact app,
+ click the search box,
+ type correctly letter by letter using the small soft keyboard.
Gesture Search app lets users quickly search for contact by drawing letter gesture one by one on the phone screen and suggest contact matches.

This had been a great, helpful app. I had to do a factory reset on my phone and I lost my old app of this. Whatever this one is, it does not work well. It does not recognize the letters I put in. And each time I try again with the same letter, it gives me a different answer, which is still wrong. Can you please make this like it used to be?

I appreciate this as an alternative to Google's gesture search app they stopped supporting, however it is frustrating it does not show results for multiple similar letters you may have meant the way Google's does (e.g., lowercase “i” and “j” or uppercase “J” and “T”). It also does not have a dark theme like Google's, which kills my eyes at night.

Has a hard time recognizing many of the letters you write, even with perfect handwriting. d, g, o, q, s, t. Annoying

What's new

Improve letter recognition
Show error when drawn letter is too small
Only show contact search, no longer show installed app search result
