About this app

Managed through an easy-to-use app, Notion’s multifunctional sensors can monitor for:
Opening doors and windows
Water leaks
Sounding smoke and CO alarms
Temperature changes

Any time one of your Notion Sensors detects activity, you’ll receive a notification directly to your smartphone.

Create your account and follow the easy step-by-step instructions on setting up your Notion system.

Decide what you want to be notified about and customize when you want to receive push notifications. You can opt to receive task-related push notifications based on whether you’re home or away and have the option of either setting your location manually or turning on Notion’s auto home/away detection feature.

Safely and reliably share access and control of your Notion System with your family, roommates, friends, neighbors or staff without sharing personal log-in information.

For homeowners who don't want to miss a potential emergency, upgrading to Notion PRO 24/7 professional monitoring gives you push, text, and phone calls so you can take action quickly. Plus, be reassured that emergency services will be contacted if you can’t be reached.

Trying to add a sensor and when I scan the QR code it says "sorry, this sensor hasn't been added to your bridge." WELL DUH! That's why I'm in the part of the app to add a sensor to the bridge! The app is horrible. I've been at it 30 minutes to add the bridge and am still not done. No help is available.

Glad I didn't have to pay for this. Only good thing is the home insurance discount. System kind of works. It took about 50 tries to get the bridge connected. The door sensors work, but they also go off randomly throughout the day, so I'd have zero confidence in them especially without a camera. I have a strong wifi signal and have resynced them multiple times. I've decided to just turn them into temperature sensors lol so I guess I got something.

Hi zach, Sorry things haven't been perfect so far! I'm glad you were able to get everything set up. Our team would have been happy to offer support along the way! Regarding your alerts, make sure your sensors are not near other magnets to maximize the accuracy. I'll be in touch with an email with more suggestions soon. Best, Julian @ Notion

The biggest issue that I had with the app on Android Pie was that notifications were not being delivered. After the notion support contacted me, it turned out that the setting of the app to detect location was set to off by default and I had chosen to receive notifications only when I was away from home. However, the app was unable to detect my location and didn't send notification. After manually enabling location detection in the app, notifications started getting delivered. Notion customer service is really great. Julian from the customer service team was very helpful in checking everything with me step by step until the issue was resolved.
