Still Has Some Connection Issues Updated: Come to find out, it was a Motorola update that just messed up my Bluetooth. Overall decent app, but still shows as connected when my watch clearly isn't. Original: Not sure what happened, but the app no longer maintains a connection with my Steel. Now it's just a dumb-watch. Running AT&T Moto X 2014 v5.1.1
Cyanogenmod saved me I love my pebble, and this last update seems to have repaired a few of the connection issues.. I got sick of it and put in Cyanogenmod instead of. default, at 5.1.1. It works now, though the notification says "connecting" when the app says it's connected and everything is good once you open the app. Thanks for the update, Pebble team!! Hope you can fix it soon!
Stops working after 10 hours I love the watch, but the app is ruining the whole thing. I need to restart the app or the phone twice a day to continue receiving notifications, it is hurting my business and my social connections. Don't buy a pebble watch!
My Pebble won't maintain a reliable Bluetooth connection to my Nexus 5. I did troubleshoot and do all the magic dances and voodoo described in FAQs, support forums, and so on, but nothing gets my Pebble to maintain a reliable connection to my Nexus 5. If I can't rely on a "smart" watch to do the most basic thing, i.e. maintain a connection, then what use are other features? Reliable notifications are paramount, but nothing can be reliable when the Bluetooth disconnects frequently and randomly and won't reconnect itself. Pebble must invest more R&D into solving these connectivity issues.
Crashes 5 seconds after opening! What can I say, the title says it all! 5 second is not enough time to load/unload apps and/or watchfaces, download new ones, change settings, or practically anything else! Pebble to phone connectivity is still functional though. This issue has persisted for far too long, and none of my bug reports have been responded to! This app used to be flawless! I have been very patient, only to no fix, or just an email response!
Crashed on nexus 6P Worked fine on my galaxy S4, but it's crashing on my new 6P. Update - I was able to re-pair and restart the app. Seems to be fine now!
- NEW: watch selector menu when setting up a Pebble or Pebble Steel for the first time.
