The Pebble 2 is a great device which is why Fitbit bought Pebble.. for the technology. However, the Pebble App drains my cell battery rapidly. Pebble app uses nearly 70% of my battery while all other usages aren't even 20%. The Pebble app cannot be forced to stop.. Samsung S4 running Android 4.4.2 If you un install the App, all activity data is wiped.. gone! Great device but this app drains my battery to 0% in about 10 hours. Have a charger nearby..
ever since the new update my watch (pebble time 0EE4) hasnt been able to connect to my phone. it still tracks sleep and step counts but i cant get the weather or notifications on it anymore. ive tried rebooting my watch and i never turn off bluetooth so im blaming the update. i hope itll work again soon
Glad to see an update even after Pebble went out of business. I hope most apps will continue to function for a long time; Pebble Time is the best smartwatch I've used and have on my wrist on a daily basis. The app has been great, easy to navigate, download and organize watch features.
I hope this fixes old watchfaces that stopped working due to broken cloud-integration. Too bad Pebble is gone. Still, it's a practical smartwatch that's NOT a battery hog or overly flashy. The simplicity makes it elegant; and battery lasts 4-5 days! I use it for discreet and non-distracting notifications when driving, in a meeting, in a movie house, or when my hands are full. Got the KickStarter versions of PSteel and PTime!
I bought a Pebble recently even though I knew Fitbit bought them and were discontinuing the line. It would make it easier if I didn't care much for the watch or app or hated them. But I don't. I love them. It does everything I want to it. I hate to see Pebble end. Now I have even less interest in Fitbit than I did before.
Just bought pebble recently even though i knew that pebble is closedown. So far I feel happy with the device but sometimes it's stop the notification. It on and off. I don't know if your still working on it or not but if care, please figure it out and come out with the solution. Thanks for your efforts. Still in love with Pebble.
We’ve updated our Android app to preserve the Pebble smartwatch experience and remove the dependence on cloud services.
The app lets Pebble devices keep working, even if online servers are not accessible for any reason. The login process can be skipped, apps can be side-loaded, and the latest watch firmware (including language packs) can be installed.
