Ratings and reviews

Great concept, great art, app is smooth... but boasts search by interest/niche with a comprehensive list of maybe 8-10 options. I'd be more inclined to pay if there was any functionality that could demonstrate actual usefulness, like the number of potential connections near me. It's too much of a shot in the dark to risk paying for membership, especially at an elite dating site price point.

I thought I had found Nirvana upon encountering Pure. The concept is simple, but relies on people's honesty which far too often leads to mismatches, disappointment and the occasional 'horror story'. The one strike (for me) about Pure, is that it didn't make it clear from the get go, that the whole system is based on, you/me/the client et al, creating an advertisement, a paid advertisement in order to make use of any of the features. IMO, I would have preferred to have known this beforehand.

I wanted to like the app but it has several issues. Some issues are your standard dating app pitfalls like nickel and diming you after the subscription to make finding matches easier. The biggest sin is the chat timer. When you match you have just 24 hours to communicate with the other person. I missed out on matches because of this as I was not notified I had been messaged. Notifications were on as I got them for ads and the recent update. But none for messages. The timer needs to go
