Changing my life. I'm more tolerant, calm, patient and i'm a better dad because I find it much easier to switch off from work stresses and focus on family time. My partner can tell when I havent been meditating for more than a few days. I think it would benefit just about anyone, and stick with it, the free 10days were good but i felt much more benefit as i bought the subscription and delved deeper. Great customer service too.
Love this app. I enjoy the variety of meditation apps with different focuses e.g. anxiety, patience, generosity etc. These have anywhere from 10-30 days of meditations with a focus on a subject. There are also single meditations, and ones for particular moments e.g. flying, general high anxiety moments, commuting and so on. Regardless of what meditation you pick, Andy's soothing and down to earth voice guides you. He is pragmatic; it is not about quick fixes, but about cultivating moments of peace, calm, and self kindness in your day, that make it easier to cope with the day.
Best change I've ever made in my life. Meditation has had the greatest positive spillover in my life. I credit Headspace for that entirely. I've tried many different apps, but this is the only one that stuck. It's been the easiest to use, with the most variety too. Not to mention, the app's streak feature really helps ingrain the habit. Others in my life have already noticed the change in me, and I myself have noticed differences. More patience, more focus, and better relationships, overall. All I can say is, thanks Headspace! Five stars!
Awesome app, needs some updates tho I love this app. It is incredibly helpful. BUT, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add 1-2 minutes of silence during the "go back over your day" portion of the on-the-go sleep (No. 2) session. It drives me absolutely crazy that I can't do the actual task because there is no pause. I love that session, but it's ruined. I can't overlook that flaw. Please give us time to think, it would be amazing otherwise.
Good at making me feel calmer, thank you Hi, i was told of this app by my Dr as I have depression and anxiety. I can't afford the subscription so can't comment on that, I just do the free 10 days over and over. I find it very hard to concentrate, and control my thoughts, and sometimes the 10 minutes go by and I realise I've not listened to it at all. but I would say I feel calmer when I stick to doing it every day.i once did 9 days in a row and could feel myself getting better at concentrating so I would say if you struggle like me, keep at it :)
Useful It has been very useful in helping me get control of my mind again. I've been going through a depression and this has really helped me deal with it & move past it. I love that there is a variety of guided meditations and you can choose how long you want them. The man's voice is very soothing & really helps bring you into the zone. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who has a scattered mind & is just getting into meditation.
