Good but not great It took me over 30 mins to order a cab and in that time my battery dropped by over 20%. Just when I was about to give up a cab accepted the fare. It all worked fine after that.
u dumb if u still use uber Best car app for nyc hands down
Credit details bullcrap I hate the fact that I have to fill in my credit card no. in order to book a quick ride. This disables me from ordering a cab for someone else (as I very often do) and is not in any way convenient for me anymore.
Great when it works, but adding cards is herratic and users get randomly blocked for no apparent reason. You can't rely on the service. Funny story: in order to unlock the card, they ask you to send a picture of an ID (fair enough), a picture of the card (WTF!) but covering some digits (WTF!!) and a picture of the rear of the card, covering the CVV code, meaning nothing meaningful is left in the picture, except... the digits they asked you to cover, WTF!!! They're clowns.
An essential app A good product and service. The most recently used location list [still] needs some work though - it does not update or sort properly and as a result is not useful. Also the taxi's location is often out of sync with reality; it can appear at various points on the way to a pickup.
Stick with Uber Wanted to give it a try, doesn't give me price of how much the fare is going to cost. It says pay by meter. No good to me
