We are excited to announce the release of the new Go Outdoors SD mobile app. This app includes new features we heard straight from you:

• Ability to sign up for Key Date alerts which includes season start and end dates and application opening and deadlines. (Don’t forget to allow the GFP Outdoors app to send you notifications to enable this new feature!)
• A new customizable Digital Backpack where you can store your licenses, see yours key dates, view your choice of the downloadable handbooks and the maps only you choose.
• The new Map Gallery that allows you to download the Public Hunting Atlas before you go to the field so it is available for offline use.
• View your licenses you have purchased while offline.
• The ability to purchase a license or reserve a campsite.
• The most up-to-date Mountain Lion Harvest Data right at your fingertips.

Ratings and reviews

Terrible app. makes it almost impossible to give the state your money for a hunting license. Maybe works fine when you actually get the license. When you are signing up don't hit the back button at all, and dont even think about leaving that app to get the code from your email because you will start over. Also don't auto fill your CC info because it will start you over. Then when you manually type in all the info, prepare for it to fail anyways and have to fill it all out for the 13th time. Junk

Really confusing. Applied for 5 licenses and a lot of repeat effort to do this. Why can't a person look at application while applying? Have to go to another page to look at units and dates, go to home page, then go to another page to apply on line. Am I paying a $10 application fee and another $10 for preference fee now? When are fees going to stop?

Please, please get some help with the app design! The navigation is an absolute catastrophe. Whenever someone presses the back button they're logged out, then directed to the page where you can change your personal info when you log in again. I just want to go from the cart, back to the license selection page (because there's no way to view licenses specifics from the cart), not edit my hunter safety number. Government app so it's not expected to be "good" but at least shoot for "makes sense".
