GoGoRadio LIVE plays an integral role in the expansion of GoGo music world wide. It also seeks to stimulate, educate and entertain listeners by providing the latest music, news, culture and events to an ever growing GoGo community. GoGo, a sub-genre of funk that combines African, jazz and R&B sounds that produce a percussion driven rhythm, has long been suppressed or underrepresented by other media outlets. GoGoRadio Live fills that gap by building a model for the post corporate media environment while rejecting the narrow formats of corporate-owned media. GoGoRadio Live's disc jockeys, on-air personalities, journalists, writers and others care about and are dedicated to giving listeners a full spectrum of the GoGo culture by airing voices and viewpoints that are now almost totally excluded from mainstream radio.
