I have v2.6 installed on my Pixel 2. I'm able to share my clipboard on either device, but run into problems w/files. When trying to send a photo to my Windows 10 PC (also running 2.6), I will get a "Connect failed. (RemoteSystemUnavailable)" error message. When I try to send a file to my Pixel 2, the Roamit notification will fail with a "Receive failed.".
The share function on Android causes crash on Android. Unless you get in Roamit app and share from there.
Receive always fails the first time
Wonderful app. Only one thing: The "legacy UI mode" got disabled, so now I can use the app only with the "White-Orange" interface, while the old look (which corresponded with the windows app equivalent) is way better in my opinion. EDIT: Thanks for the (quick) reply! Great that there will be a "dark mode" in the future! I'm going to buy the pro version, so enjoy your free cup of coffee 😉
Worked first time I tried it. Transferred jpg and clipboard from lg g6 phone to w10 pc. Unfortunately the Android app 'stopped working' but this happens with a lot of apps and is not much of an issue normally. Sent feedback inc. system log.
Getting a receive failed message on some files (non-images) even though it was sent successfully, but otherwise a great app that's a good and faster replacement for Portal and Pushbullet.
• Roamit is now free and open source!
• Improved connection speed.
• Improved the speed of 'Preparing' phase when sending multiple files.
• Fixed an issue where send link button was not working.
