Awesome. Everyone should have this browser Right off the bat after installing i noticed the browser loads up way quicker than my old one. It also blocks trackers and lets you know how many its blocking for each page. Facebook has been tracking and i dont even have a facebook profile. This browser is awesome and i recommend it for anyone who wants privacy from google, facebook and the other big corps that dont respect privacy.
One thing missing. I'm a huge, huge fan of the Ghostery Firefox plugin, but have only just discovered this mobile browser. It seems good so far, but there's one thing I'm really missing that will probably stop me using it in meantime: I'd really like the font size options to have a greater range of settings, perhaps be more like a slider rather than a drop down list of the current 4-5 options. Because unfortunately for me "Normal" is too small to be comfortable but "Large" is much too big. (I believe Chrome provides a slider)
Works as intended with some minor issues I've been looking for a more private way to use my phone and this is it. Fast and secure. I've noticed it drains the battery faster than Chrome, however, so I suspect it must be fairly processor intensive. It would also be nice if there was a way to hold down links and open them in relevant apps such as YouTube, Play Store etc like you can do in Firefox.
My go-to I love everything about this browser except the bookmark management, which I understand is due for some improvements. HURRY! In the meantime, I get a little thrill every time I see a Facebook tracker or Twitter button get blocked. Take that you creepers! p.s. I also use their add-on for Firefox. Check it out if you haven't already done so.
Streaming content not working as intended Ghostery is very fast and efficient indeed - no ads or pop-ups in sight, but for some reason the streaming video content (youtube and other sites) is not being displayed properly. Some videos are downloaded instead of being opened, others are opened but cannot be switched to fullscreen - the button is simply missing. Also, it would be nice to be able to actually have a measure of control if what Ghostery blocks, like in the PC version. At the moment, "Allow all" and "Block all" is all there is.
Good on cache cleaning but struggles with some sites If this worked smoothly with every site I visited, this would be the only browser I ever would use. It cleans your cache on exit if wanted which most browsers do but can't play videos in some pages eg BBC news pages. If this is not a deal breaker for you then I will recommend it.
