Powerful file manager that can modify external sdcards, but you have to select the "storage access framework" option in the home panel. It would be helpful if this was shown clearly in welcome screens or in Play store notes. Some reviewers don't seem to have discovered it.
Cannot write on sd card. I know is it due to google be evil policy, but some app seems to be able to bypass that
Great for renaming files, copying to and from DropBox, etc. It's handy to switch to the dual-pane interface of this app sometimes when moving and copying files.
Unable to enable Write to SD Card, checked all permissions, everything is enabled. Android 7.0 OS Uninstalled 2/2/17. Love the interface and everything else was much better than the standard and total commander file manager. Has the potential for greatness!!!
Just loaded the app for the first time after looking for ES File Explore replacement. Well so far so good, that is until i tried the copy/move feature (which is an absolute must for me at the moment). There's no "browse" option. If i want to make a spare copy of something for "just in case" or "testing", i would need to know EXACTLY what I'm typing out. I'm just learning, I'm not all THAT good/into it quite yet. The browse option would make things a bit easier for everyone and is honestly a great feature for all around. Thanks.
Odd and awkward interface, also has difficulty with some root file structures, but I cannot praise it enough when dealing with smb shares, it is fast and error free.
The text editor now can fling a long text
When no hardware menu button and the action bar is turned off, the text editor, text viewer and the picture viewer shows a small floating menu button over the content
Fix, device rotation does not affect the color file masks anymore
