Terrible Cruise eSim. Do not waste your money on GigSky for cruise data. I purchased a package specifically for my cruise, and the service did not work at all for the entire duration of the trip. The eSIM failed to connect to the network, rendering the data completely useless when I needed it most. ​Save yourself the frustration and money—look for alternative roaming options or reliable shore-side data instead. Total waste of money. And was not able to get a refund.

I used Gigsky on a cruise and in the ports. Data was spotty in some areas of the ship, but when I did have data it was fast and didn't cut out. Data was also spotty when transitioning from ship to shore and vice versa, it took around an hour or two for the eSIM to connect to the local network. Regardless, I'd take this over the costly price of the cruise line wifi.

This esim advertises as being able to be used during a cruise on the ship. From my experience, this is completely FALSE. I bought a plan for both me and my wife. It was so bad, we ended up forced to buy the cruise Wi-Fi. As we were in the U.S., I had no need to buy it for land use. So, if you plan to buy this for use on a cruise ship, don't bother. Also, the app navigation is terrible. It took me near forever to find out how to add an additional device to the account. Not good.
