About this app

A local history trail around the parish of Bremhill and four online talks have been arranged
for the weekend of 12th/13th September 2020. This is part of the two year project during
which local volunteers and professional historians are working together to research and
publish a wide-ranging history of the parish. These activities are in place of the Bremhill
Parish History Festival which is not able to proceed this year as originally planned due to
current restrictions.

The trail has 12 stops around the parish, each of which will have an information board with
details of the history of the location and the associated people and activities. The same
information will also be available from a mobile app which has been developed as part of
the project. The trail can be followed - in whole or in part - on foot, bicycle or in a car,
between the hours of 9am and 7pm on 12th and 13th September. There are details of
routes on the app, especially a range of different length walks between the trail locations.
