Used to be 5 stars now it's not even worth one star. Worst "update of all time" randomized gifs is the dumbest idea. Not to mention howuch slower it is. This is like a bad break up. Used to be my favourite, now I passionately hate it

I usually enjoy using this application. Though, ever since the last update the giphs move at a normal speed within the application, but once sent to somebody, they speed up to a point in where the recipient cannot even see what is happening in it, which makes this application pointless. Once this error is fixed, I will change my rating.

Update makes any gif sent in messenger or messaging apps speed up so fast its hard if not impossible to see whats going on. Looks normal within giphy app but once sent its sped up. Useless now.

This app sucks! The "gif roulette" doesn't even make sense! I want the specific thing I searched not "have our app guess" crap. Also you can't share the gifs anyways! This app is pointless and has pointless features nobody would ever neex

I used to use this for GIFs in Messenger, but it has become quite terrible, as you cannot easily view and select from many GIFs anymore (if you choose Giphy from within Messenger). If you access Giphy from your Launcher, it works just fine, but the choice to strongly limit the usefulness from within Messenger, is the reason for my 1🌟 rating.

The new update has rendered this app useless and embarrassing. How could you possibly release this to the public after testing both the functionality and UX. Honestly, heads should roll for this update

Seems like it's had an update for the worse. When searching a gig using a word, it will only show 1 at a time instead of being able to scroll through the different selections. Have to touch the screen to change the gif and it keeps loading the same one all the time. App sucks now
When I upload these videos on whatsapp status it transfer in purple colour and it becomes not viewable plz solve this problem.. Otherwise it is so good
This used to be my go to app. I loved it. The latest update has made it no longer user friendly. So disappointed. Roll it back if you want stars abd users back.
I was disappointed with this app I downloaded it to work with Kik because on kik it has the gif menu. But the gif app won't collaborate with kik, so it doesn't make since to have that option with kik but then not work with the app, the app also is slow and doesn't function properly when u chose a gif
Trending gifs are a joke and nothing to do with current trends. i.e. Not even one Joshua vs Klitschko gif after almost 12 hours of their fight. How is that trending??? Instead you've got Beyonce on there! GTFOOH
Poorly executed version of a simple webapp guys. Image loading is super slow, despite good network. Scrolling is unloading already loaded images, pressing return is bugged, etc.
You are not able to convert anything to giphy from the app. Only reason I download just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who might of made the mistake.
This used to be my favourite app for gifs but I hate the new updates. They have made the app less user friendly. Trying to find a gif takes forever.
The latest updates to the messenger extension suck.... I can't specifically search for a gif from a list or gallery... now when I search it shows me a gif at random...and to keep finding a new one I have to keep hitting the refresh button?... bring back the full functioning app instead of this extension
It was great before it started freezing when you go to send to someone. It's freezes wverytime, I even deleted and reinstalled the app. 5 starts when it gets fixed and works again.

The gifs speed up way too much once you share through text messages it looks stupid. Barely use it anymore. About to uninstall.
All I get are colored squares and rectangles. Only a few times has a gif popped up.
Love the fact I could make my own Gif for a friend whom just had an operation as I could not find any emoji that had hospital stuff.
It is really useful tho it'd be perfect if u added an anime reaction's category, because you don't have much in your collection
Numerous gifs fail to load - even when I'm connected to superfast broadband. Not impressed
First couple days was fine, now nothing comes up.. Maybe 1 or 2 on a page of approximately 20 tiles. Serious bug issues
App seems like a fun app & great tool, but crashes EVERY TIME I try to use it; I had to uninstall it!
Downloaded for the "one stop" gif to video converter for instagram- too bad there is no instagram button as shown on the page which describes that function
So easy to use. Tons of gifs setup in categories and to top it up it enables search as well. Added bonus is you can download it to your phone.
I really enjoyed using this app there's so many things to view & there's masses of different types of things that you can choose from too send to all different age groups & for every occasion I could think of!!
What the hell happened?! This used to be really good app, like an encyclopedia of gigs, now I have to choose one out of a "roulette" that's more often than not just the same image every time. Rollback needed.
Only works on WiFi, otherwise a list of colourful boxes. Total waste of time.

Unable to search for a gif, instead you're given a random and poorly selected one.
The app is great, but we need a way to capture gifs from online videos like the web app. Also the way that you share should be customisable, for instance, I use WhatsApp a lot so that should pop up as my first choice when sharing.
This app would be 1000% better if you could filter by file size. (Txt only allows 1200kb)
The MMS optimisation makes the GIF pretty choppy or doesn't even get the image meaning across, please compress it differently.
Good, but the download gif button takes hours to work.. you can click it all you want, it will show "Gif Saved" when it wants... and it's not in the mood normally
I like it, but I wish they had more gifs for all celebrities, instead of just the popular ones
It's good when it works, however half the time, if you try to download a GIF, the app crashes and doesn't let you download the GIF.
It's be a 5 star I we could edit the gifs as in like write personalized stuff on them in the app itself
Awful loading times and takes way too long to share in Facebook messenger
I love Giphy. My friends and I send them back and forth to cheer each other up.
