  2. - Try this must-have tool for beginners to step in time and rock those chords.

  3. - Already in a band? That’s cool! This is an easy way to create on the go.

  4. - From learning the scales to exploring the fingerboard (fretboard) and improving solo and chord performances – look no further.

  5. - At Gismart, we really love music, that’s why quality matters to us. There might be tons of guitar simulator games out there but there is nothing like this one. Music is life.

Whether you’re striving to become the next rock guitarist hero or simply looking for games to pass the time with music, Real Guitar will give you and your friends lots of fun! Oh, and did we mention there’s no need to change strings? 🎸

Garbage, it forces you to sign up for the $7.99/mo premium before you can even play it. There is an option where you are "supposed" to be able to opt out and try a basic version, but when you try to turn it off, it just brings up the purchase window from Google play store to purchase premium. Very predatory monetization tactics.

Won't let you play without signing up for 7.99 weekly. On closer look, I see all the reviews saying the same thing. And the developer replies with a message to email them with screenshots. This is obviously a recurring issue. Most people don't want to email tech support to a game they never played. Much less, a game that aggressively attempts to get you to buy a paid subscription. And few want a paid subscription to something they never even tried.

Hello Scott. We'd like to mention that there's a free version of Guitar which you can access after closing the subscription banner. To do so, please tap on an "x" in the upper left of the banner (it may not be visible due to the navigation buttons). Should you need any help, please message us at

The first thing the app does is try to get you to get the unlocked version for $50/year. If you are just trying to test the app before buying stuff (or committing to a trial), you can skip that step, but be prepared to be disappointed: the free version will pester you with ads on every change of screen, the sound quality is only an approximation to what a real guitar sounds like, strumming mechanism is plain and unimaginative, the electric option is a bad joke (used as an acoustic only), etc.
