About this app

MeraBizNet the digital portal ( www.merabiznet.in) and downloadable as an app addresses the roadblocks that inhibit women owned businesses to proliferate and grow. It addresses the key challenges women face namely in accessing funding, seeking advice and guidance, building their entrepreneurial skills and connecting with credible partners for business related services. This support is categorized in 4 components : Funding , Mentoring, Tools & Training and Go to Market Partners. Initially available in English and Hindi the portal provides any woman the right to use the services to seek answers on finance and funding schemes, request for guidance through a Mentor, access learning material and connect with verified agencies that handle compliance, statutory, procurement, marketing and accounting matters. Intuitive help is provided throughout through call and email based support.
Additional features that on the anvil include access to potential Investors, online live classes, online Business Idea Seminars and offline support through tie ups with last mile agencies.
Developed with a Purpose for ‘Powering Women to Own & Grow Business’ MeraBizNet aims to reach out to 25000 women entrepreneurs (aspiring and early stage) in the first 2/3 years.
About Us
Pritha Dutt, Founder MeraBizNet was till most recently the CEO Empower Foundation ( www.empowerfoundation.net) . She is co-owner & Board Director for Empower Pragati (www.empowerpragati.in) an NSDC Partner firm and Empower Foundation. She is also Chairperson, Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council, a Section 8 company under the aegis of MSDE and NSDC. Pritha is currently also Strategic Advisor, XLRI helping establish the Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusive Leadership (CGEIL).
MeraBizNet is owned by Gaia Women Empowerment Forum which is a Section 8 Company with 12A and 80G Certification. It was incorporated in November 2022.
