Food is always late or cancelled even if you order in advance. The restaurant accepted my preorder for my dad's birthday and then cancelled an hour before on the day. Today the food is currently 35mins late. Their chat is slow and has many people waiting to talk... Then it closed itself without confirming because 'i hadn't responded in a while - because the customer service agent took so long to get my order details ! Truly astounding. Use deliveroo.
It's okay but recently I am pretty sure that they took away all the pork dishes from some of the menus. Restaurants offered became less and less, ( at least for the ones I was ordering b4). Guess this app is catered more for Muslim community. I stopped ordering from this app as a result. As I have no food restrictions, wld prefer to order from somewhere,that has the full menu.
Should have given less than 1 star, but option not available. Foodpanda offers 1 hour delivery guarantee which is bit on a higher side and food never gets deliver within stipulated time. When you order directly same restaurant will deliver in 30 minutes. Best to order directly from restaurant itself. This was almost 2 years back Present day Order is not delivered for 1.5 hours and as per update received it is delayed by another 30 min. There is seriously no upgrade in quality of delivery from foodpanda's vendor.
I'm from the Philippines, and I'd like to say that it's very helpful . There is a wide array of restaurants to select, and most of the time they are earlier than expected. There were a few times my order was extremely late, but for consolation I got a P200 voucher. Chat is very useful, agents always respond. I'm not sure about the locations of the people who made the 1-2 star reviews, but their service is just STELLAR.
Email address that automatically pops in your email client (when recommending restaurants) is not valid. Bounces back. Happened twice already that the app seem to not capture the correct amount for change. Indicated P1000 but both riderz could see P500 on their end. It would be great to indicate this in the email confirmation. Other than these 2 issues, like ordering via FoodPanda. So convenient!
Ordering itself works quite well. However, Food Panda have very poor customer service and support. Live chat is useless and phone rings for 6mins before stating "goodbye" and cutting the call. Zero compensation or deduction for restaurants getting orders wrong or delivery wayyyyy outside their stated time.
