App used to be great but for some reason, online payment is accepted by a really limited number of restaurants now. Cancellations have also been happening a lot lately! You take time to think through your order and they just cancel! Sometimes, the order's tagged as "Preparing" then after minutes pass, it's cancelled. There should be a better way to notify your consumers or maybe filter out the options better. Only offer those who can actually accommodate.
Waited for my food to be delivered. I was very hungry. The order tab showed that my food was delivered. I waited 15 more minutes to receive my food. When I chat with the service officer, he said that my food was cancelled! When I asked, "Why wasn't I told? ' he commented that an email was sent. Seriously? I ordered through an app, but you replied me through an email telling me that my food was cancelled BUT showed that my food was DELIVERED on the Food panda App? YOU GUYS SHOULD BE HONEST!
The rider just not being honest with himself. We give a bit extra money & in return, he needs to give a change of rm2.50. It's a small amount but it is our cashier money that we borrow for a while. The rider told us to "wait for awhile while he went to MyNews to get small change" & ended up cannot find the way back to our shop. Should have been honest & ask us first whether he could keep the balance or not but instead he just went off without any notes & he even have my number yet no memos have been received.
First of all, this app is really great for person who lazy go out and having a tassle to buy a simple food. Great job. Now, can Food Panda deliver food that came from places quite far from my location's radius, i.e 10 km away? It seems that I don't know how to do it.
I have just UNINSTALLED it. They sent 1 chips instead of 2. They said in chat they would refund but no. They simply adjust the amt in the new receipt like its a new order. But still no email to show refund. And the chat was hopeless. It kept hanging. Talked to at least 4 people but none solved the prob. And the last one even asked to rate the chat. This is my rating 👎👎👎👎
I never had problems with the app until recently. Firstly, payment would go through but says payment failed when getting back to the previous screen. Secondly, the timer will run eventhough a rider hasn't been assigned which is a complete waste of time. I have to constantly check with the assistants in chat which leads to my third point. Chats should not be closed until order is done and sometimes, I cannot reply after the assistants have replied. Buck up foodpanda.
