App used to be great but for some reason, online payment is accepted by a really limited number of restaurants now. Cancellations have also been happening a lot lately! You take time to think through your order and they just cancel! Sometimes, the order's tagged as "Preparing" then after minutes pass, it's cancelled. There should be a better way to notify your consumers or maybe filter out the options better. Only offer those who can actually accommodate.
Waited for my food to be delivered. I was very hungry. The order tab showed that my food was delivered. I waited 15 more minutes to receive my food. When I chat with the service officer, he said that my food was cancelled! When I asked, "Why wasn't I told? ' he commented that an email was sent. Seriously? I ordered through an app, but you replied me through an email telling me that my food was cancelled BUT showed that my food was DELIVERED on the Food panda App? YOU GUYS SHOULD BE HONEST!
Normally good service. Food is delivered on time. Sometime messes up but even the workers are humans and you can't expect them to be perfect. But there is something wrong with the payment gateway. Every time I make a payment it shows payment unsuccessful and I have to place an order again and make another payment. Although the amount is refunded this is a wastage of time and effort. These guys need to get that fixed ASAP.
We filed a complaint 10 minutes after the order was delayed. The customer service rep said that the rider's device malfunctioned. Then their driver called from another location. When i informed their rep, he hung up. The order arived 30 minutes late. I said i am not paying for the delivery fee which was 22% of the total order. But they insist that i pay for it even if the order was delayed because "they still delivered the food"!!! They don't think it's a breach of contract on their end.
Worst service ever. The application is not updated. They are not in control of resturants. The restuarants cancel the orders at thei own will. And they don't feel like replying on the chat. They just shut you up saying weird stuff. I wish I could upload screenshots here.
Yo, foodpanda. Not feeling the love anymore. Bad service. Might as well you deliver the food on the next day. Not going to use it anymore. And pls don't lie to people, you are so overrated, I mean 4.0? Really? How much did you pay to get that rating?
