Totally Unreliable as my order was cancelled after 1.5 hours of waiting, without any reason or apology! The online chat is useless as not even a single reply to my many queries! & this isn't the first time! No efforton service recovery for this too! & there is no way u can call any one to check too! Not recommended unless don't mind the unreliability.
Your new app doesn't matter because your service is still ridiculous. Your confidence though, amazes me; you prompt and literally provoke me non-stop asking me to rate your app and your service. Your live chat is the only way to communicate immediate concerns to you. And it doesn't work. After texting you and being told to wait for a response (which never comes) I was kicked out of the chat cos you hadn't heard from me in a while. Yup, because I start the chat and supposed to reply myself and have imaginery excellent service, right?
New update is needlessly more confusing and requires more effort to do the same things. Slow and often doesn't load at all. Restaurants that are closed appear at the top of promoted, and then all filters are cleared when selected. Menus are more confusing with new layout. Similarly, payment options display should just be a list, making us swipe through these things is just a waste of space and time. Really poor redesign of a decent application.
The old version was better. Customer service sucks, can't even get an agent to talk to regarding orders. Also no field to indicate how much change the rider supposed to bring. Can't even view/edit cart unless the minimum order was reached, such hassle.
The new update is so bad! The tiles for each restaurant is too large which makes scrolling a pain. There are only stock images of food now instead of the restaurant's logo for easy identification. They don't even tell you the delivery charges anymore. I went from using the app from almost daily to not at all, because at this point it's easier to call the restaurant yourself.
Seriously, Foodpanda just sucks now. Not only is the app way more complicated and annoying, the tracking is inaccurate and the restaurants don't seem to care about keeping to the time. Apparently I'm not only one whose timer from from 45, to 33 to 8 mins and back to 35 minutes. This is RIDICULOUS. I really do avoid ordering food panda now, judt go for direct order with restaurants, or make the tough trip to the store. Better than wasting time and money with this service. Uninstalling after this last order that I've been waiting for for almost an hour.
Mobile number errors!!??!? 4 days in a freaking row I tried to input my mobile number and it keeps giving me an error that it failed. What the heck is this, all I want is food is it so hard to just get my number and deliver the damn food without all these ridiculous sign ups and errors? Went on the in mobile chat to express my concern and NO REPLIES. Expected better of foodpanda.
