Food order countdown / timeline is useless. Delayed order message says: Contact us via "Live" chat if it doesn't arrive in 10 minutes. But it's been AN HOUR and "Live chat" says: "Wait for an agent. There are 58 visitors waiting to be served". This app has so much potential but their customer service seriously needs to improve.
Your new app doesn't matter because your service is still ridiculous. Your confidence though, amazes me; you prompt and literally provoke me non-stop asking me to rate your app and your service. Your live chat is the only way to communicate immediate concerns to you. And it doesn't work. After texting you and being told to wait for a response (which never comes) I was kicked out of the chat cos you hadn't heard from me in a while. Yup, because I start the chat and supposed to reply myself and have imaginery excellent service, right?
The old version was better. Customer service sucks, can't even get an agent to talk to regarding orders. Also no field to indicate how much change the rider supposed to bring. Can't even view/edit cart unless the minimum order was reached, such hassle.
The old app was better. Its design wasn't sore on the eyes and you could view the minimum amount needed for delivery(or the delivery tax) straight from the restaurants page. Now it only shows up once you add something to the cart. It's like you went two steps back since this this rebranding bulls**t
From 2 stars, I added another star just recently because their location calibration seems to be improving. I can finally pin my exact location and not the neighbor's house anymore. However, pictures of the food of the vendors are inaacurate and are probably just stock photos taken off of google. If the restaurant can't provide official photos, don't use fake photos, just use their logos instead. Saves you (food panda) from accusations of false advertising.
Very unstable app! The same address was deliver-able the day prior... And suddenly my country is not supported the nex?? Happened for 2w in a row i dun feel like ordering when tge prob arises. Taking uo too much to my time to keep refreshing the gps etc. Service by foodpanda is good. But this app. LAME
Not a single time they response to my message in chat or via email. My supposedly warm fast food came late and super icy cold. Called the outlet that prepared my food to check on this since no response for them and get to know the rider picked up my food 1 hour ago and that explained why my food is super cold. The food outlet mgr called me back and informed me that food panda will call me back but ASAP but again, no call from them. Super nonsense
