The service was good the first 2 times I used it, I even rated 5 stars. Now I'm taking that back. Why? Sometime after ordering and confirming, there was no response and all the sudden, the restaurants are closed. At 12 noon mind you, not a.m. Had to wait for it to be open again and hope that it won't 'close' after you finish ordering it. As for today, I ordered at 1.11, restaurant prepared my food at 1.47 and now at 3, nothing. The live chat feature for customer service is not that reliable either. You have to queue up and still, no response. Funny thing was, I ordered pizza in between that, received and finished eating it but still no Food Panda delivery.
The new app interface is nice to look at but functionality is not on par. Have to click on 'customise' to see further details, when you click back, it doesn't hold your position on the page before, prone to accidental adding to cart because apparently a simple tap aids you to add and not show more details as before. And of course, you'll never get any voucher or promo code unless you don't use the app for a while. Pfft.
Your new app doesn't matter because your service is still ridiculous. Your confidence though, amazes me; you prompt and literally provoke me non-stop asking me to rate your app and your service. Your live chat is the only way to communicate immediate concerns to you. And it doesn't work. After texting you and being told to wait for a response (which never comes) I was kicked out of the chat cos you hadn't heard from me in a while. Yup, because I start the chat and supposed to reply myself and have imaginery excellent service, right?
The old version was better. Customer service sucks, can't even get an agent to talk to regarding orders. Also no field to indicate how much change the rider supposed to bring. Can't even view/edit cart unless the minimum order was reached, such hassle.
Your delivery sucks. I order from Food Panda at least 2-3 times a week. These last few months, orders came wrong, incomplete, late etc etc! Have a web chat which without fail has the whole world to get their turn to chat. If you leave the window, gotta queue all over again, bloody insincere customer service! I was even routed to the Philippines customer service before! I understand the rebranding now, it's to announce to the world that Food Panda officially sucks now.
This is real story.few weeks ago i ordered and they delivered abit late..out of nowhere the next day they send me a note that they giving me a 5rm voucher for the next order.. I was so suprised with.. Good job food panda.. Even though its unexpected but still they appreciate the customer...
New update is awesome! But please change the fake pictures of food with originals... you can get it from the restaurants. You can add more real pictures of the main foods of every restaurant. It will be great if we can see a sample of what we are ordering. Thanks for the update anyways.
