Functions:

Using your Device & app history access permission, the Global News Skytracker Weather app will:
- Provide an optional “widget” and status bar icon showing weather conditions even when the app isn’t running.
Using your Identity access permission, the app will:
- Provide location search and map presentations.
Using your Location access permission, the app will:
- Provide weather information for your current location
- Present your current location on the map
Using your Photo/Media/Files access permission, the app will:
- Share selected photos with Global News at your request
- Save new photos taken within the app to your gallery
Using your Wi-Fi connection information access permission, the app will:
- Optimize the app experience based on available bandwidth
Using your Device ID & call information access permission, the app will:
- Detect changes to network conditions and adjust the app experience accordingly.

used this app for a long time was very good up until last update, crashing , unstable, starts up then shuts down, temps not updating comparing to other apps similar, this app needs fixing, beginning to not rely on this app now.

My Dad always told me to use this app instead of the other ones I had been using at the time. He said this app was way more accurate - and he was right! so glad I made the switch

I used to love this app, especially having the temperature for home in the status bar and lock screen. However, as others have noted, this was recently changed, and often disappears completely, unless the app is open. Also, why do the developers insist that these temps in the status bar be tied to the "follow me" location, rather than what we designate as home or preferred? Most of us do not have unlimited data, so we do not leave our location function on continuously. But no location, no readout. This used to be my favourite weather app, but I will probably uninstall it unless it gets fixed soon. Sad to say.
