Extremely unreliable. It costs so much extra money each month for remote commands, but I don't know why I bother when it fails more often than not anyway. The app is slow regardless of the phone's performance - I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared caches, rebooted, you name it. It still sucks and I just need to accept that the fob is way more reliable, though it has very limited range.

Previously I discussed the app not allowing you to start charging only stop charging. Now that it's cold outside I've discovered that there is no preconditioning setup in the app. Setting up from the vehicle results in the vehicle not charging any other time of the day. Of course you cannot override that from the app. Setting a phone reminder to start the vehicle was the last archaic option! But of course the app/car fails to send or receive the message. Look at the Ford app. It was done right!

Actually, the app works quite well and has significantly improved in the few months I've owned the car. But I'm giving it a low rating because it's pushing advertisements / special offer notifications at me which I can't disable without also disabling important charging-related notifications. Stop pinging me with special offers and I'll consider a better rating. UPDATE: increased rating since it hasn't pushed any special offer notifications in several months.
