LG Mach, ICS 4.0.4: Very slow-loading & sort order mixed-up. Was looking to restore the old Gingerbread experience. Needs work to get there. 1. MAJOR speed improvements. 2. Settings for folder (album) priority---alphabetical (A→Z) , newest first, oldest first. This is supposed to be a PREMIUM application. Considering the faster dual-core CPU and dedicated GPU on my new handset, way too slow to display and hard to quickly access image files the way it is. Back to stock until fixed.
Bad design by choice? One can not specify media directories; it grabs epub book images as part of an album; sick in the head design with total lack of choices; it grabs everything and constant fc. What is this? App is abandoned since 2012. Erik with lg /a500
Will not stop requesting access to Picacia! On a pretty regular basis Gallery Pro keeps requesting access to Picacia, which I DO NOT want to grant it access to. Each time when the request is made I click cancel. Especially since this is a paid app, the user should have complete control over what Internet access an app like this requests. While it is okay for Gallery Pro to ask for access to Picacia once, after that it should stop asking. Whether or not Gallery Pro connects to Picacia or can make similar Internet requests should be a setting that the user can enable or disable based on their preference.
I would expect Gif support for the gallery when purchused. Its a good gallery, but with out Gif. support i find a setback. A gallery should support all pictures, png, jpeg and gif. Images. Paying for a app with out these features or no trial or free version makes this a waste of money. Kyocera Hydro 4.0.4 (rooted)
Was a good app Takes forever to open. Worked well with droid incredible 2 but not so well with galaxy S3. Won't open using handcent or takes forever. Stock gallery works better.... Samsung galaxy s3
